Gigafactory reaches full capacity for announcements
Plant now operating three shifts of communications staff.

A fictional battery manufacturer has confirmed that its proposed 40 GWh gigafactory is now running at full announcement capacity, following the commissioning of a second press officer.
The facility has issued six major milestones this quarter, including a groundbreaking, a re-groundbreaking and confirmation that the ground remains available for further breaking.
“We are producing announcements at a rate that would have seemed impossible just two funding rounds ago,” said chief executive Graham Forecast. “Every one is suitable for immediate use in a ministerial speech.”
The site currently comprises a fence, a visitor parking area and an artist’s impression of a considerably larger fence. Work on the cell production line will begin once the company identifies an appropriate strategic partner to discuss it with.
Installed capacity is listed as 40 GWh. Operational capacity is listed as commercially sensitive.
The company confirmed that its first customer deliveries remain on schedule for the future.
